This is a very select group of fresh calved heifers offered by timed auction through Grasstec.

The genetic data speaks for itself.

- Average EBI of €267 with narrow range of €251 to €296
-Milk Sub-index range from €50 to €108 guaranteeing high kg solids output.
-Average Fat & Protein PTA’s of +0.21 and +0.15 predicting fat of 4.75% and protein of 3.93% from these heifers themselves – guaranteeing high milk price bonus Maintenance sub-index of €10 indicating a mature liveweight of approximately 590kgs.
-Fully genotyped confirming parentage and increased index reliability.

Calved between 5th February and the 15th March and about to head into peak production over the coming weeks.

Pedigree registered with desirable balance of Holstein (80%) & Friesian (20%) blood.

. Average herd EBI of €188 , in the top 5% of the national herd, with a 5 - star balance for Milk and Fertility sub - indexes. Maintenance sub - index of €10 indicates an average liveweight of 590kgs.

Strong, deep bodied cows.

High herd health status, fully vaccinated for IBR, Lepto and Salmonella and part of Johnes screening program for the past 5 years.

Herd output of 530 kgMS/cow from 6200 ltrs. Most notable is the Fat and Protein percentages of 4.53% and 3. 80 %, respectively , – exceptional solids from a black & white herd – in the top 5% of those supplying he milk coop.

And of the heifers themselves... All A I sired bar 2 heifers and fully genotyped and with an a verage EBI of €214 , with i ndividual heifer EBI up to €262.
